Get a glimpse of downtown Houston's ghostly side
Tag along with Discover Houston tour guide Sandra Lord as she conducts a Ghost Tour just in time for Halloween. This is not a ghost hunt, mind you. You won't be taking photos in creepy cemeteries and then looking for orbs in your snapshots. This is a nighttime walking tour, hitting several downtown bars and restaurants that are said to be spook-filled. Lord will fill you in on the location's lore. Hear all about the Donnellan Crypt, the Ghost at La Carafe, the Barmaid's Best Friend, the Double Dangle 1838 and others. Tours fill up quickly, so get your tickets early. 7 p.m. today.
