What’s the holidays without a little pushing and shoving? No, we don’t mean you and your relatives at the dinner table. We mean the match between the Houston Aeros and the Texas Stars. When the two Lone Star teams met last month, fifth-ranked Houston took the win 4 to 2, ending the sixth-ranked Stars’ then four-game winning streak. Of course, the 6’5” Texas goalie Tyler Beskorowany was just making his AHL debut in that game (during which he stopped 27 out of 30 Houston shots), so the Aeros might have a harder time on their hands this time around.
