Superstar crooner Neil Diamond has come to Houston! Sort of. Actually, it’s impersonator Keith Allynn performing in a Neil Diamond Tribute. Allynn looks and sounds almost exactly like the singer himself – the one from back in the '70s, when his blow-dried coif was full and his tunes sent shivers through the giggling girls of the Me Generation. Even if you don’t remember those days firsthand, you’re just as likely to swoon over dreamy tunes like “Sweet Caroline,” “Craklin Rosie” and yes . . . sigh . . . “Hello Again.” Just ask the audiences from Branson, Missouri, the Midwest entertainment Mecca where Allynn regularly performs. 8 p.m. Thursday, 4 and 9 p.m. Friday.
