There will be a free New Year’s Eve party in Sugar Land Town Square this year, with a children’s celebration from 7 to 9 p.m. which will be followed by a more adult celebration from 9:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. Entertainment will include stilt birds, candy sculptures, a musical performance by Fried Ice Cream, a light show, and, for the finale, a 3-D sugar cube drop at midnight (for those who want a little variety on the New Year’s Eve balloon drop).
