Bayou City Art Festival — Memorial Park
Memorial Park will be transformed into an outdoor gallery and stage for the Bayou City Art Festival. More than 300 artists, including featured artist Dolan Geiman, will be displaying their work in more than a dozen mediums. (More than 1,500 artists applied to participate in the juried festival.) There are also ten Art of Food stations and several Art of Wine seminars and tastings. Local performing arts groups, including CORE Performance Company, provide constant entertainment during the three-day festival.
