More About

Five photographers — Nancy Newberry, Rania Matar, Natan Dvir, Alison Malone and Martine Fougeron — are displaying work in the exhibit “Teenagers: Portraits of Identity and Expression.” They explore similar themes but have different approaches. Matar and Dvir capture images of teenagers’ personal spaces, examining what belongs to them. Malone and Newberry document their lives, including the subcultures they belong to. And Fougeron approaches the topic as a mother, creating narrative portraits that show teenagers over time. 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursdays. Through June 24. Houston Center for Photography, 1441 West Alabama. For information, call 713-529-2755 or visit www.hcponline.org. Free.
Wednesdays-Sundays. Starts: May 28. Continues through June 24, 2011
