Chicago is on its way back to Houston, bringing with it two murderesses, an international cast and John OHurley in the role of Billy Flynn, the winning lawyer always looking for the spotlight. OHurley has been doing Flynn off and on since 2006 (he joined the Broad-way show after his stint with Dancing With the Stars) and left it in September before joining back up in May for a nine-city road tour. An added attraction for him was the Houston stop; his wife Lisa Mesloh grew up in Sugar Land. OHurley says he loves playing Billy Flynn. Hes a tremendously complicated leading man with a sense of elegance, and hes got a very strong comedic side and a very strong dark side. So it gives me a chance to really stretch as an actor, says the man who also gained fame playing J. Peterman, Elaines boss on Seinfeld. Chicago, set in the 1920s, is the story of Velma Kelly and Roxie Hart who each murder a man and then turn to lawyer Flynn to get them off. The show, which won multiple Tony Awards and was made into a movie, is known for its John Kander-Fred Ebb music and lyrics and book by Ebb and Bob Fosse. 8 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, 2 and 8 p.m. Saturday, 2 and 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
