Everythings bigger in Texas, including Mayor Annise Parkers official Freedom over Texas 4th of July celebration. Three stages will feature continuous red dirt music by good ol boys Chris Young, Rodney Atkins and Jack Ingram. The Bud Light Zone will bring the Bud Light Texas Volleyball Championship games, and the Wal-Mart All-American Kids Zone will be filled with hands-on activities, games and family entertainment. At the end of the evening, a spectacular fireworks display will light up the downtown sky. To add to the fun, everything will be broadcast live on ABC-13/KTRK-TV and 100.3.KILT radio. Bring a can of food to donate to the Houston Food Band and get in free. 4 to 10 p.m. Eleanor Tinsley Park, 500 Allen Parkway. For information, visit www.freedomeovertexas.org. Free to $8.

who picked the songs and left out Katy Perry's firework? Worst ever Houston program.
Umm, when did the Freedom Over Texas 4th of July celebration become "Mayor Annise Parker's"?!:Answer: It didn't.
