Over the course of three albums, Big Business has grown from the two-piece of drummer Coady Willis and singer/bassist Jared Warren into the muscle-bound four-piece of upcoming disc Quadruple Single. You more than likely know Willis from his ongoing tenure in Murder City Devils, and Warren from his late, great group Karp. We can't say we won't miss the fun of seeing Warren and Willis going back and forth alone onstage, but the additions of guitarists Toshi Kasai (back in 2009) and Scott Martin can only make the Big Business ship that much more devastating live. The band's albums, Head for the Shallow, Here Come the Waterworks and Mind the Drift, are meaty slabs of Cream-y Melvins-style madness, which can be explained by the fact that Warren and Willis now do double duty in Big Biz and the Melvins whenever the latter's Buzz Osborne rolls his old girl into the studio and onto the road.
