Hank Williams: Lost Highway

Hank Williams was only 29 when he died. But during his brief lifetime, his blazing talent changed country music forever. His dramatic life story includes a struggling, itinerant childhood, a medical condition that would leave him dependent on morphine as an adult, and a remarkable musical talent influenced by the likes of street musician Rufus Payne, who, legend has it, taught Williams to pick a guitar in exchange for food. It all comes to life in Randal Myler and Mark Harelik’s critically acclaimed musical Hank Williams: Lost Highway.
