Photographer Luis Gonzalez-Palma captured a timeless image in Portrait. The photograph shows a young woman with almond eyes looking straight into the camera, a black shawl wrapped around her head. The beauty of the image is its simplicity. While the photograph could easily be from the 19th century, it is, in fact, from the 1990s.
Portrait is just one of the works that the Peter Fetterman Gallery will have on display at the Houston Fine Art Fair. During the fairs four-day run at the George R. Brown Convention Center, some 80 galleries will be showing contemporary work from established and emerging artists in a variety of mediums, from painting to sculpture, prints to installations.
