Audiences might think of former Destinys Child group member Michelle Williams as a good girl, but her character in David E. Talberts stage play What My Husband Doesnt Knowcertainly is not. Williams is returning to Houston to star with Morris Chestnut (ABCs V and The Best Man) in a story about a woman who steps out on her husband. As Williams describes the story: Time and time again us women, we just have that fantasy we want that man who has a great job. We forget the sacrifices that that man will have to make. Her character, she said, is a woman who consistently seeks love and attention from her husband.

Williams says that she has been eager to work with playwright Talbert. Finally, after five or six years of trying, things fell in place. I loved the script, it has so much laughter; its drama and comedy together. David, he always has a message in the midst of the laughter. In addition to Williams and Chestnut, the cast includes Clifton Davis, the well-respected veteran actor. 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday, 3 and 8 p.m. Saturday and 3 and 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
