The Russian Cultural Center Our Texas presents its 5th Annual Russian Documentary Film Festival Showcase in Texas: Images of Russia. Acclaimed director Valery Balayan will be on hand to present Window Pane Nostalgia, a look at the life of philosopher Merab Mamardaschvili, and Love Me, Please. Love Me, Please, the story of journalist Anastasiya Baburova, who was gunned down at the age of 26, along with Stanislav Markelov, a human rights lawyer, by a neo-Nazi in 2009. The title comes from a note she’d written her parents days before her murder in which she said, “Good day comrades, parents! May I ask you for something: love me, please!”
