Haunted Mayfield Manor, along with Mitchell Historic Properties, will be hosting a special family-friendly Halloween carnival, The Saengerfest Mini Monster Bash, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Saengerfest Park. It will include a costume contest at 3 p.m., assorted games with prizes, and trick or treating at various downtown businesses. Children ages 11 and under are invited to come dressed in their favorite costumes for prizes in the scariest, cutest and most creative categories. Among other attractions will be activities such as arts and crafts, pumpkin “musical chairs,” and face painting. The park will be decorated to provide the perfect spooky backdrop for Halloween photos. Haunted Mayfield Manor is offering a discounted ticket price during the carnival hours from 2 to 4 p.m. for older youngsters and adults.
