More About

The music of legendary former Beatle Paul McCartney gets the big sound treatment during today's Live and Let Die: The Music of Paul McCartney. The four-piece band, Classical Mystery Tour, led by McCartney look-alike/sound-alike Tony Kishman, joins the Houston Symphony and performs several Beatles tunes (“Hey Jude,” “Let It Be” and “Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band”), but focuses on hits produced by McCartney throughout his post-Beatle career, including his time with Wings (“My Love” and “Silly Love Songs”) and his own solo outings (“Coming Up”and “Maybe I'm Amazed”). Of course, Sir Paul may yet hire himself a symphony to travel the world, but until then the Classical Mystery Tour will keep fans happy. 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Jones Hall, 615 Louisiana. For information, call 713-224-7575 or visit www.houstonsymphony.org. $25 to $116.
