MFAH Film Spotlight on World Cinema: Taiwan

The weekend series MFAH Film Spotlight on World Cinema: Taiwan offers us three contemporary Asian films. First up is Juliets (Zhu li ye), a film in three parts by three directors. One follows a disabled girl who works at a family print shop and gets involved with a student group that wants to distribute illegal propaganda; another features a happy-go-lucky girl who thinks nothing of putting herself and her boyfriend in a little danger; and the third is a hilarious farce with a male Juliet.
