The River Oaks Chamber Orchestra and Houston Chamber Choir have joined forces to present the world premiere of Messiah for Kids! Children can enjoy a special version of Handel’s classic, created just for them by composer and Shepherd School of Music faculty member Karim Al-Zand.

As if in a football pre-game show, actor Rutherford “Ruddy” Cravens comes out on stage as Handel and details his team (the orchestra and choir), as well as providing a play-by-play analysis of the music.
