Nancy Henderek has a great gig: The artistic director of Dance Salad Festival, which is now in its 17th year, she travels the globe in search of the most innovative companies and, each year, brings them to Houston to perform. Henderek’s discoveries usually end up onstage, but today they’re bound for a film screen in the Touring Taste of Dance Salad Festival. Working with videographers, Henderek edited footage of the performances from Dance Salad 2011 into a feature-length production. “It’s archival,” she says, “but it also reads as a film itself.” Henderek leads a Q&A after the screening. 6:30 p.m. Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, 1001 Bissonnet.
