Barbara Park is most famous for her Children’s Choice Award-winning Junie B. series of books about a kooky kid who gets in trouble, speaks her mind and has a bit of a temper. A favorite for legions of fans, Junie B. comes to life for the holidays at Main Street Theater with Junie B. in Jingle Bells, Batman Smells! The story is about Junie B.’s holiday dilemma, when she draws Tattletale May for her Secret Santa. The problem is, May is Junie B.’s worst enemy, and while this could be the best opportunity ever to give ol’ May just what she deserves, holiday stories, especially those for the wee ones, are full of good lessons on how to find the true holiday spirit. And Junie B. won’t disappoint any parents in the audience even as she delights all the youngsters with her naughty ways.
