The Herdman kids have a well-earned reputation for being plain awful; the word “rambunctious” doesn’t do them justice. So when they show up at church looking for free cookies and stumble into rehearsals of the Christmas pageant instead, everyone is dismayed. How will the organizers wrangle the Herdmans into performing as directed, especially when the kids have their own ideas for a few changes to the script?
