Christmas isn’t just a holiday — in The Little Town of Christmas, it’s a place, too. And it just happens to be one that’s filled with funny, funky little characters: There’s Mrs. Claus, who’s the power behind the throne in Santa’s workshop; Skeezix and Sylvester, an elf comedy team; and some ambitious kids angling to play the wise men in the Christmas pageant. The Little Town of Christmas, written by Pat Cook, is filled with holiday laughs. 8 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, 3 p.m. Sundays. Pasadena Little Theatre, 4318 Allen Genoa Road, Pasadena. For information, call 713-941-1758 or visit www.pasadenalittletheatre.org. $12 to $14.
Thursdays-Sundays. Starts: Dec. 2. Continues through Dec. 18, 2011
