You still have one more chance to get your kids to the Seasons of Sharing: Christmas; the exhibition closes today. Children can stop by the EcoStation to build a nature wreath from organic elements or pick up a pair of binoculars and help with the annual Christmas Bird Count. Over at the Inventor’s Workshop, kids can construct a Santa’s Sleigh-a-Pult to help Santa make his deliveries after his reindeer have called in sick. At Junktion, children can create Clothespin Reindeer from wooden clothespins, googly eyes and tiny pom poms.
While you’re there, stop by the museum’s store and pick up any last--minute stocking stuffers. 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. December 24. Regular hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursdays, and noon to 6 p.m. Sundays. Children’s Museum of Houston, 1500 Binz.
