The New Year is coming around the corner once again, and according to the timekeepers of an ancient civilization, this one will surely be our last. So, in light of your imminent demise, why not give 2011 a proper send-off with some food, a little music, and a glass or seven of champagne? The Crystal Ballroom at the Rice Hotel will be holding the Crystal Ball New Year's Eve Party from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. The event is all-inclusive, and will feature five bars, a DJ in the Empire Room, live music by Drive in the ballroom proper, and a breakfast buffet (courtesy of Sambuca Restaurant) at 1 a.m. Tickets can be purchased online and cost $100.
