Concrete artist Joseph Cohen just spent a few months in Italy, and it seems he put his time to good use. The exhibit ''Joseph Cohen: Fatto in Italia'' is comprised of new works he created there, using reclaimed paint and materials. The show’s title means “handmade in Italy,” which perfectly describes Cohen’s method of working — he built the wooden panels he works on and reclaimed the paints and other materials himself. Just in case you don’t know much about Concrete Painting, here’s what you can expect: no narrative, no abstract symbolism and no right or wrong. There’s lots of texture (many of Cohen’s new paintings include dried drips of paint hanging off the bottom of the canvas). It’s a fascinating style and Cohen, whose work is part of the permanent collection at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, is among the best. 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays.
