It was back in 1960 when astronomer Frank Drake used a radio telescope to listen to two nearby stars. He didn’t hear much, but that was the birth of our modern search for life beyond earth. It’s been more than 50 years since Drake’s experiment, and we haven’t found any evidence of life in outer space. Of course, that hasn’t stopped us from looking. The film Life in the Universe starts with the Big Bang and moves forward to our solar system today. See the birth of stars as well as the formation of rings and moons, and stars in their final days. Universe features breathtaking images sure to spark your curiosity — is there life out there? Are we alone? Or do we have company? Times vary. Daily shows. Through Fall 2012.
