Orbit: An HD Odyssey

The Blue Marble that is our home has never before been seen with such crystal clarity now that NASA has captured the most beautiful high-definition pictures of Earth. The Houston Symphony celebrates this new look at our planet with Orbit: An HD Odyssey. The concert weds these incredible images to four musical works. There’s Strauss’s “Also sprach Zarathustra,” which many of us remember as the theme for 2001: A Space Odyssey.
