There’s been lots of buzz about the first two installments of Coast of Utopia, which have both received rave reviews from critics and audiences alike. If you missed the first two installments — Voyage and Shipwrecked — you’re in luck. While both Shipwrecked and Salvage are now being performed in repertory, all three plays will be performed in sequence starting March 15, with an all-day marathon of them all on March 18.
MST Executive Artistic Director Rebecca Greene Udden, who is also directing the trilogy, tells us, “All along we had examined the possibility of doing a ‘Marathon Day,’ doing all three parts in one day. I initially decided that it was asking too much of the company, but it was the actors who insisted we needed to do this. Who am I to disagree?” 8 p.m. February 24. Through March 18. Rice Village, 2540 Times Boulevard. For a full schedule, call 713-524-6706 or visit www.mainstreettheater.com. $32 to $90.
Tuesdays-Saturdays. Starts: Feb. 24. Continues through March 17, 2012
