Awready Kickoff Artist Reception & Graffiti, B-Boy and B-Girl Exhibition
Houston’s hip-hop community takes front and center at the Awready Kickoff Artist Reception & Graffiti, B-Boy and B-Girl Exhibition. The event is a launch for Awready, a two-day conference on Houston’s unique hip-hop culture, as well as an opening for the “Graffiti, B-Boy and B-Girl Exhibition,” a FotoFest-related showing of video, painting and photography created by local street and outsider artists. Several graffiti artists, including Dez and 3rdLogic, will be painting live during the event, and their works will be auctioned off during the reception. The Houston-based dance group HaviKORO (Knights of Rhythm Odyssey) will perform.
