More About

Donae Cangelosi Chramosta, owner of The Vintage Contessa, will bring her classic jewelry and handbags — think gold-plated satin dome Chanel earrings or a pink Gucci shoulder handbag.

Along with specialized retailers, this year’s curator, Garrett Hunter, invited several emerging Texas-based designers to feature their new lines, many of which are in small-scale production in the state. Among them is David Peck, the man behind CrOp, a line of sustainable clothing designed and manufactured here in Houston. His spring/summer collection includes a print he calls Chips Papillion, a playful yellow and white pattern inspired by a bag of Zapp’s potato chips.

The preview party and sale is 6 to 9 p.m. Friday. $60 to $75. Fair days are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. $5. Lawndale Art Center, 4912 Main. For information, call 713-528-5858 or visit www.lawndaleartcenter.org.
