Michael C. Rodriguez’s contribution to the exhibit shows a brick wall covered with two of the film’s posters; a drawing in the graphic-novel style shows a young woman in the foreground looking fearful of the image behind her. The work is mostly black and white, with just a hint of red in the woman’s makeup. Several red-and-white Hello My Name Is… sticky tags cover GONZO247’s poster, which, like Rodriguez’s, is done on plain brown paper. Instead of names, the tags feature illustrations. Two faceless creatures curled up into fetal positions are on one, two smiling, round-eyed insects are on another.
Meanwhile, Shreddi’s poster shows a pink octopus being strangled by a fur-covered arm. Other participating artists include DUAL, Give Up, Eyesore and Ack!. Noon to 8 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturdays, and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sundays. Through June 14. Domy Books, 1709 Westheimer.
