“Uncorked and Uncovered: Felipe Lopez”
Most artists study techniques and styles; Felipe Lopez studies neurology. The Houston-based artist is showing new work examining the brain at the exhibit “Uncorked and Uncovered: Felipe Lopez.” The works, in several mediums, feature repeated screened images of a brain. “I don’t just paint. I also produce installations, video art pieces and sculptural pieces. I like to use them amongst each other, against each other,” says Lopez.
