The title A Couple of Stand-up Gals is a bit of a misnomer. It isn’t just a couple of female comedians who will be taking the stage, but five, including veteran Kristin Linder. (“Having kids is like eating ice cream; you have to know when to quit. There’s a very fine line between ‘Oh, my God, this is awesome, I could do this forever’ and ‘Holy shit, I have fucked myself up.’”) There’s also The New Movement’s Lisa Friedrich and frequent Houston Press contributor Abby Koenig.
