Jazz vocalist Cassandra Wilson borrows a line from bridal lore, saying in press materials that her Houston show will include ''something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue.'' Wilson, who hasn't performed in Houston for some 15 years, recently earned the top spot on the Down Beat Critics Poll for Female Vocalist. With two Grammy Awards to her credit, Wilson has carved out a reputation for herself as having a voice that's larger than a single genre can adequately describe. Yes, she sings jazz, but there’s also some blues and even folk and country music wrapped up in her style. For her latest release, Another Country, Wilson went to Italy to record with producer/guitarist Fabrizio Sotti. The pairing resulted in a fresh take on familiar tunes…and a surprisingly sultry version of ''O Sole Mio.'' 8 p.m. Wortham Theater Center, 501 Texas.
