Cinderella was originally created by the African-American Shakespeare Company, but the Ensemble Theatre has managed to infuse the reworked fairy tale with its own signature flourishes. Composer and lyricist Carlton Leakes, the man behind so many of the Ensemble’s musical productions, has written new music for the show. And director Patdro Harris has added a distinct movement style to the show’s many dance sequences. With lush set designs and elaborate costumes, Cinderella is a delightful production the entire family will enjoy. 7:30 p.m. Thursdays, 8 p.m. Fridays, 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. Saturdays. 3 p.m. Sundays.
