Enjoy a parade and a 20-minute fireworks show at the Galveston Island 4th of July celebration. The parade starts at 7:30 p.m. and features decorated floats, a procession of military vehicles, marching bands and performers. Catch it along Seawall Boulevard, from 28th Street to 53rd Street. After that, it's a beachfront fireworks show at 9:15 p.m. at Seawall Boulevard and 37th Street.
