Director Ben Shapiro's documentary look at just how Crewdson goes about making his masterpieces is being seen in Houston for the first time in MFAH Film Premieres: Gregory Crewdson: Brief Encounters. The film, which took Shapiro more than a decade to shoot, gives us an inside look not only into his work process but his private life as well. Crewdson is seen on screen regaling viewers with personal stories.
