There is no zombie movie better suited to today’s viewers than Edgar Wright's Shaun of the Dead. In fact, we're gonna go out on a limb here and say Shaun of the Dead may be the best zombie movie ever made. Okay, maybe not, but it is a good flick, combining solid horror scares, the traditional existential angst of the genre, and laugh-out-loud comedy. Shaun is the tale of an unimportant store clerk, Shaun Riley, who moves from timid loser to ghoul murderer and consummate leader of a ragtag group of friends at the dawn of the zombie apocalypse.

We suggest you play the Name the Horror Movie Easter Egg drinking game while you watch the film. Tidbits from classic, B-movie and modern horror films are given screen time, providing an extra layer of delight for the sharp-eyed (and admittedly geeky) viewer. Note: This is an outdoor event. Feel free to bring your own lawn chair and outside food.
