And there will be plenty for them to choose from, with some 70 galleries from around the world exhibiting art in a variety of mediums. A healthy number of Houston galleries, Sicardi Gallery and Moody Gallery among them, will be represented, along with loads of other U.S. shops, such as New York's DCKT Contemporary and Chicago's Catherine Edelman Gallery. The international scene is well represented by galleries from Dusseldorf, Toronto, Saint Petersburg and Tokyo. Mediums and styles vary, but the fair has one unifying goal: ''showcasing contemporary work from the most innovative, progressive and driven artists from around the world.'' On Thursday, there's an opening-night preview at 6 p.m., followed by an opening-night party at 7:30 p.m. Regular viewing hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.
