Think your dog is the best pooch in the world? Of course you do. You can test that theory at this year’s My Dog Can Do That! event at the 35th Annual Reliant Park World Series of Dog Shows. Non-registered dogs can test their skills — while proud owners stand by — at a condensed agility course. An expert will be on hand to coach them through. There aren’t any titles at stake, no big prizes, just the knowledge that, yes, your dog is in fact the best in the world. (Unofficially, mind you.) My Dog Can Do That! is just one of the many events on the schedule in addition to the official breed competitions and agility contests. There’s also Meet the Breed (a meet-and-greet between potential owners and breed experts), the McScotty Market (shopping for everything canine-related — except puppies) and a Best Little Doghouse (a contest and auction of designer digs for dogs). 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday through Sunday.
