Some of Houston’s best performing arts companies will be strutting in the 63rd Annual Holiday Parade Presented by H-E-B. Theatre Under the Stars has a moving stage with performers from The Magic of Peter Pan and Houston Ballet has a float topped with characters from The Nutcracker. Teen pop star Kenton Duty (Lost, Disney’s Shake It Up) will also provide live entertainment. H-E-B’s Tom Turkey float is always a highlight of the day. Huge helium balloon characters and dozens of marching bands, clowns, cheerleaders and drill teams complete the line-up. More than 400,000 Houstonians flock downtown every year to see the spectacular procession, so stake out your spot on the sidewalk early.
