Between this and last week's Dukes of September gig, you have no reason to complain that Houston never gets any great shows, er, shows where you can take the parents. Still slugging away, Joe Cocker released latest album Hard Knocks this past January, with production from Matchbox Twenty collaborator Matt Serletic. His voice has aged like a fine wine, and Knocks' uptempo material does him good. As for Huey Lewis and his News boys, they're still as rousing and party-rocking as ever. If you think about it, they were like LMFAO for '80s yuppies.
