Two thousand twelve has been quite the year for Against Me! and the Florida band's lead singer, Laura Jane Grace. Formerly known as Tom Gabel, Grace made media waves earlier this year by shedding her male persona and embracing the feminine side she had largely kept from the public her whole life. Grace and the band have continued touring (hitting Houston this past summer with The Cult), and if anything, Grace is an even fierier band leader now that she's in heels. The group is readying a new release, Transgender Dysphoria Blues, which in part chronicles Grace's personal revolution.
