Embattled NYC ska-punkers Leftöver Crack were one of the most polarizing acts of the late '90s and early '00s, with lyrics less than delicately touching on everything from the World Trade Center bombing and school shootings to drug abuse and general malaise. Ironically, the band's 2001 album Mediocre Generica (nee Shoot the Kids at School) was released on September 11. Always known as a harrowing live act, LOC has amassed a cult following of Crack-heads that will no doubt be back at Fitz to time-trip one more time. According to single-named lead singer Stza, the band will be playing a few new cuts from an as-yet-unreleased album.
