4 Hidden Shopping Gems in Memorial/Energy Corridor

The Memorial area is in no way void of shopping meccas. Memorial City Mall, Town & Country, and City Centre provide plenty of retail therapy sessions to the locals. Each comes with trendy boutiques, great restaurants, and priceless people watching opportunities. But, there are a few spots that are, as one shop owner described, off the beaten path and I set out to find them.

Most consider Memorial to be anything East of Texas 6, West of the 610 West Loop, North of San Felipe/Briar Forest, and South of I-10, which makes for a large swath of land to cover. But hidden amidst the towering trees (and houses) of Hunter's Creek, the gleaming new apartment complexes of the Energy Corridor, and the I-10 strip, I found four boutiques members of the Memorial crowd should check out for their favorite Fall fashions.

Bags & More

If you are in need of gifts for anyone, this Katy Freeway shop needs to be your first stop. Everything from jewelry, to clothing, to men's gifts, to baby items, and home decor are all under owners Kim Lambs' roof. If it isn't here, it isn't anywhere, and that's why I loved it.
