One good bird finds another in the new IMAX movie Ocean Oasis. The film follows the lives and love lives of elegant terns (seabirds) and other fauna in two interdependent ecosystems: Mexico's Sea of Cortez and the Baja California desert. Documenting the elaborate courting dance of the cute little terns not to mention the territorial duels of elephant seals during mating season Ocean Oasis offers a rare look at the elusive wildlife that has flourished in a seemingly barren landscape. It also takes the viewer on a refreshing swim with the manta ray, exploring the warm, coastal waters that support migrating whales and other marine life.
