Being exceptionally good-looking certainly doesn't help you play an instrument any better, but the three sisters who make up the Ahn Trio (cellist Maria, pianist Lucia and violinist Angella) have certainly captivated audiences as much with their stunning looks as with their prodigious musical skills. But the popular musicians also get credit for their determination to collaborate with inventive living composers, including Pat Metheny and Kenji Bunch, whose work they'll play tonight in a concert hosted by the Society for the Performing Arts. Then the Korea-born sisters will also play modern-era Brazilian jazz by the likes of Tom Jobim, Nelson Ayres and Paul Schoenfield. Yes, all three young women are gorgeous, their true beauty is their talent. 8 p.m. Wortham Center, 501 Texas. For information, call 713-227-4772 or visit www.spahouston.org. $24 to $54.
