All Aboard

The San Francisco quintet Train has all the edge of, say, Matchbox 20. But edginess has never really been the band's calling card. Their sound can be summed up as music for the well-adjusted, I'm-just-fine-thanks set. Boring? Maybe. But even if you're not a fan, you'd be surprised how many radio-riffic Trains songs you know: "Meet Virginia," "Drops of Jupiter," "Calling All Angels." You've heard them on Mix stations, TV commercials and movie soundtracks. Pushing their latest release, For Me, It's You (deftly produced by Brendan O'Brien), the band stops by Verizon Wireless Theater today. If you're down for adult pop hooks that sparkle with commercial sheen, get on board at 8 p.m.
