Any Means Necessary

Chances are, if you're watching a movie featuring an American Indian, you're watching Russell Means. The actor-activist has been in films such as Last of the Mohicans, Natural Born Killers and Black Cloud, where he has played noble and fearsome characters. Dude's also fearsome when it comes to promoting awareness of Native American issues, something he'll be doing at today's American Indian Film Festival. A featured guest, Means will host a screening of Last of the Mohicans. Other films include the edgy documentary Gold, Greed and Genocide. Before and after the films, enjoy Native American dance performances, art and grub. Proceeds benefit the American Indian Genocide Museum.
