Biddy Biddy Diddy

We all see J. Lo and her trademark backside so often, it's hard to remember the days when she was a fresh, er, face. But that's just what she was when her role as the titular Queen of Tejano in Selena launched her to superstardom. The movie, about the rise and tragic death of Lake Jackson native Selena Quintanilla-Perez, screens today as part of Miller Outdoor Theatre's Texas Legends Film Series. The biopic of the woman who set attendance records in the Astrodome at age 22 is as charming as it is sad, and it's your chance to see J. Lo before she was obnoxious. You "could fall in love" with the Latina answer to Madonna at 7 p.m.
Fri., May 5, 7 p.m.
