After stints at the University of New Orleans and Juilliard, guitarist Bill Solley has moved to Houston. Were glad he did, because his unique blend of funk and jazz, with traces of classical music thrown in, is an exciting addition to the local scene. Solley plays with what seems to be effortless ease. He and a few friends Darrell Lavigne on piano, George Coward on bass, Joel Fulgham on drums and special guest Kim Prevost on vocals are calling Cezannes intimate room home for one show. The set-list is made up mostly of original material. 9 p.m. 4100 Montrose. For information, call 713-522-9621 or visit www.cezannejazz.com. $10.
